So much history surrounding all 3 landmarks we simply do not know where to start! History about the river itself to the construction of the latest architectural wonder, the Queensferry Crossing is fascinating! Did you know Inchgarvie island between North and South Queensferry was used as a prison between 1519 & 1671 or that 4,600 people were employed for the construction of the Forth Rail Bridge where sadly 73 workers died during the fabrication of this beacon of the Firth of Forth?
